about the direction

Students in the direction of "Jurisprudence" receive fundamental practice-oriented training in the field of law. The development of legal science and practical orientation of education in the Altai branch of RANEPA is facilitated by the scientific potential of the faculty of three specialized departments. Teachers of law departments are scientists and practitioners who, at a high professional level, pass on their knowledge and practical experience to students.

The department of the direction of “Jurisprudence” perform training of students of bachelor’s degree program in two profiles: state-legal and criminal legal.

The state-legal profile of the direction of “Jurisprudence” provides for a classical legal education in combination with the possibility of an in-depth study of the organization and functioning of public authorities and local self-government, the mechanism for the protection of human rights, administrative, and administrative-jurisdictional activities.

Features of the professional activity of the bachelor of the criminal law profile requires a classic legal education, combined with special training for the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Investigative Committee, and bodies of the penitentiary system.

The implementation of the educational program of higher education in the direction of “Jurisprudence” of state-legal and criminal-legal profiles has a mission of the formation of legal professional consciousness of a lawyer with a high level of legal culture, knowledge and skills in the field of rule-making, law enforcement, expert and consulting and pedagogical activities capable of protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as state interests, and in demand in today’s labor market, demanded by the state and society on the basis of the basic values ​​of democratic legal statehood.

To consolidate theoretical knowledge and obtain practical skills, students do practical training in legislative and executive bodies of state power and local self-government, in courts, internal affairs bodies, prosecutors, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, law firms and consulting companies.

Thus, practical training is held in the Office of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in the Altai Territory, the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography in the Altai Territory, Legal Association of the Altai Territory, the courts of the Altai Territory, including the Arbitration Court of the Altai Territory, the Election Commission of the Altai Territory, the Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, law enforcement agencies, etc.

Law graduates hold senior and other positions in the legislative and executive bodies of the Altai Territory, local governments, in the offices of the courts of the Altai Territory, the internal affairs bodies and prosecutors, security agencies and legal services of various organizations.
