The Department of Theory and History of State and Law

The Department of Theory and History of State and Law conducts training in the field of "Jurisprudence".

The major subjects taught by the Department are Theory of State and Law, History of State and Law of Russia, History of State and Law of foreign countries, Roman law, Legal Interpretation, Legal Techniques, etc.

The task of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law is to create conditions for the development of legal science and the formation of a highly educated and independent personality of the learner: who possesses basic knowledge, can apply legal knowledge in practice, combining in-depth study of the theoretical and practical bases of state and law with the formation of practical work skills in the legal sphere on the basis of an integral systematic scientific worldview, necessary for further professional activity.
