Department of Civil Legal Disciplines

The Department of Civil Law Disciplines mainly conducts training in the direction of "Jurisprudence".

The Department is focused on the task of preparing professional lawyers who are active, who are able to navigate in complex legal and economic relations.

The major disciplines taught by the faculty members are Civil Law, Private International Law, Family Law, Civil and Arbitration Process, Business Law, Labor Law, Land Law, Environmental Law, etc.

The teaching staff of the Department includes qualified pedagogical staff, possessing academic degrees and titles and (or) having practical experience. All teachers of the Department conduct scientific activities, participate in scientific and practical events. A number of teachers skillfully combine teaching with practical activities. This orientation allows to ensure the training of future lawyers at a high level.

The Department actively participates in the implementation of the educational process in other areas of training and in the courses of advanced training and professional retraining in various programs. Leading teachers of the Department very successfully take part in the training of state and municipal employees and other projects for raising the level of professional skill in the Center "Higher School of Public Administration".

The Department is also focused on close cooperation with employers, in particular, it cooperates with the Altai Regional Court, the Arbitration Court of the Altai Territory, and other state bodies.

Graduates of the Department successfully work within the legal profession not only in the bodies of state power and local self-government, but also in commercial organizations.
