Department of Psychology and Sociology of Management

The Department of Psychology and Sociology of Management provides training for bachelor’s and master’s programs in the direction of "Psychology".

The main mission of the department is training of competitive personnel for the implementation of psychodiagnostic, psycho-prophylactic and advisory work in the areas of management, entrepreneurship and psychological support to the population.

The lecturers of the department are scientists and practitioners who, at a high professional level pass on their knowledge and experience to students and trainees.

Research interests of the lecturers of the department lie in the field of social responsibility, managerial psychology, sovereignty psychology, psychology of small and large social groups, sociology of religion, psychological time and socialization throughout the life course, social representations and family psychology. The Department also carries out work on the study of the internal environment of the university, the quality of the educational process and models of interaction of subjects of the educational process.

The department actively uses modern forms of organizing the educational process: trainings, creative workshops, master classes of practicing psychologists, case studies and much more. The lecturers of the department teach disciplines of their profile for students of other areas of training in the Altai Branch of RANEPA.

Lecturers of the Department of Psychology and Sociology of Management successfully combine research and teaching with practical work and actively participate in the life of professional psychological community of Altai Krai. Also, lecturers of the department take part in the social and political life of Altai Krai, are included in certification committees, qualifying examinations committees as independent experts in the territorial bodies of the federal executive authority, the state authorities of the Altai Territory, and are engaged in social engineering.
