Academy teacher awarded with a letter of appreciation for contribution to the city development
An associate professor of the Department of Humanities and Natural Sciences of the Altai branch of RANEPA Viktor Isaev was awarded with a letter of appreciation from the Administration of the city of Barnaul for many years of conscientious work, significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the city and high professional skills. The award is timed to coincide with the 293rd anniversary of the founding of Barnaul.
As a professional historian and tour guide, Viktor Isaev is directly involved in the implementation of tourist, excursion and social programs in Barnaul. His excursions arouse interest of citizens of all ages and professions.
As an expert, I pay great attention to the preservation of the cultural heritage sites in the historical center of the city. Among them, for example, is the industrial complex of the Barnaul silver smelting plant built in the 18th – early 20th centuries, Malo-Tobolskaya, Lev Tolstoy, Pushkin and Polzunov streets, in the past called Petropavlovskaya. This list also includes Demidovskaya Square and Freedom Square, once the former Cathedral Square.
This work is especially significant on the way to celebrating the 300th anniversary of Barnaul in 2030.
