Bachelor's degree is the basic level of higher education. The standard duration of full-time study is four years. Graduates from a secondary general school, a secondary vocational school or a higher educational institution may apply for entrance to an educational program.
A bachelor receives general fundamental and specialized practical training sufficient to perform professional tasks. After receiving a bachelor's degree, a graduate can start a professional career, continue their studies in the chosen direction, or change it upon subsequent admission to the magistracy. Bachelors can hold positions which require higher education.
