The Altai branch is one of 47 regional structural divisions of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) – the largest university in Russia focusing on a socio-economic and humanitarian profile, which rightfully occupies the top positions in all national rankings.
The branch was established in 2001. For the first ten years, the university existed as the Altai branch of the Siberian Academy of Public Administration (SibAGS). In 2010, President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev signed Decree No. 1140 "On the formation of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration", which included our branch.
Most often we are abbreviated as the Presidential Academy. And this is for good reason: the university is meant to fulfill the tasks set by the President and the government of Russia – to carry out training, retraining and advanced training of competent personnel. Our graduates are competitive specialists in management, law, finance and psychology, who are ready to face challenges of today.
New educational technologies are a special feature of the branch. The Academy's programs are based on active learning methods. The project-based approach, "situational cases", simulators, trainings, business games and other forms of work show high efficiency in mastering new knowledge and skills. Our Academy keeps up with the times. For the convenience of students, the Academy has created a database of video lectures, and all the materials are available on the electronic educational platform.
Our Academy is famous for its individual approach, which allows us to reveal the potential of every student: from freshmen who can easily adapt to the new environment to graduates who outline their career paths and vectors of self-development.
